Londesborough Events

To raise money for the upkeep of the Church Building, the residents of Londesborough traditionally welcome visitors by exercising their baking and tea making skills.  Refreshments are served on all Bank Holiday Sundays and Mondays between 11am and 5pm in the Reading Room, opposite the Church.  Additionally, two Snowdrop Sundays are arranged each year, when visitors are allowed a rare glimpse of 'The Wilderness' and the grounds of the old hall, demolished in 1818.  The Snowdrop Walks are generally timed to hit the middle two Sundays in February, however some flexibility is allowed for weather and the appearance of the snowdrops!  The historic Church is also open for all of these events.
